Sodium Hydrosulfite 74%-88%-90%

Sodium hydrosulfite (sodium dithionite) is supplied as a white to pale-grey crystalline powder in 74%, 88% and 90% assay grades. It is a powerful, water-soluble reducing agent that is sensitive to moisture and air and can self-heat, so it needs dry, cool storage.

Its main uses are:

• Reductive bleaching of textiles, pulp and paper
• Vat and sulphur dye reduction in dyeing
• Reducing agent in kaolin clay brightening and chemical processing
