Product description

Ferric chloride (iron(III) chloride) is a dark brown to black corrosive solid or amber aqueous solution that hydrolyses in water to form iron hydroxide flocs.

It is used extensively as a coagulant and flocculant in drinking-water and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, for phosphate and odour (H2S) removal and sludge conditioning, and in metal etching (PCBs).
