Product description

Dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) is a white crystalline aromatic diester, supplied as flakes or powder, with low water solubility and a defined melting point.

It is used mainly as a monomer in the production of polyester resins such as PET and PBT, which go into fibres, films, bottles and engineering plastics, and as an intermediate in specialty polymer synthesis.
