Product description

Aerosil 200 and R202 are fumed (pyrogenic) silicas, extremely fine, light white powders with very high specific surface area. Aerosil 200 is hydrophilic, while R202 is surface-treated to be hydrophobic, and both strongly influence flow and thickening at low dosage.

Typical applications include:

  • Rheology control and thixotropy in coatings, adhesives and resins
  • Anti-caching and free-flow agent in powders
